Norma's Chicken and Pineapple

Ingredients

1/4 cup Brown Sugar  2 Tablespoon Oyster sauce  2 Tablespoon Soy sauce  1/4 Cup Ginger wine  1 Teaspoon Pepper  1/2 Teaspoon Salt  1 Can Pineapple Chunks  2 Chicken Breasts  1/2 Teaspoon Ginger  1 Teaspoon Cornstarch  1 Teaspoon Garlic  1/2 Cup Chicken Broth or Water 2 Tablespoon Oil 

Method/Directions

  • Cut up chicken breasts place in medium bowl
  • Season with black pepper, garlic powder, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and ginger wine
  • Mix and set aside for 15 to 30 mins
  • Preheat Wok or Pan to medium high heat
  • Brown Garlic in oil 30 seconds
  • Add Chicken
  • Cook on medium high for 3-4 min. 
  • Add Ginger 
  • Cook down 1 min
  • Open pineapple and drain 2oz juice in small dish 
  • Add rest of juice to most of pineapple juice from dish 
  • Make it cook down 3-4 min. 
  • Add Brown Sugar to Wok
  • Add Cornstarch to small dish with pineapple juice and mix
  • Add Cornstarch Pineapple juice mixture 
  • Cook 2-3 min 
  • Add pineapple chucks 
  • Taste and add soy or oyster, or brown sugar, etc. until you like taste 
  • Cook down for another 3-4 min on medium
